Mo-Rons.
The staff members who run the apartment complex I live in are horrible. They're rude, trashy (& they don't give a crap), and they leave too many fucking notes on your door. Every one of those notes sound like a bitchy woman trying to make polite words come out of her mouth- forced, and she can't even use punctuation correctly. This all may sound a little harsh, but I've had a couple confrontations with two of the women who I've seen most often walking around the grounds and picking up trash and what not. I don't feel like typing out the details or anything, but they are incredibly rude. Anyway, back to the excessive note-leaving: probably an average of three notes are left on our door per week. All of them are pointless, poorly written, and hilarious. Today, I arrived home to a full page letter. The best one we have ever received. Yeah it's light entertainment, but we laughed about it for about 20 minutes-reciting our favorite parts to each other and laughing all over again. You have to click on it to read it all up close, and DO click on it because God- it's so worth it. This was just a small portion, my favorite part. (:

I Love My Boys!
Last night was pretty eventful. Our very close friend Blake came over, and we ate some dinner, they played some Gears Of War, and then we decided to go to Hastings. For the record, there WAS something that we had the intention to buy and it was the entire reason we even went to Hastings- but it was forgotten, due to a $50 Shock-Laser-Tag game set. The moment that all the information had registered in my boyfriend's mind, he was almost yelling, "Oh shit! No way, it really shocks you? Oh my GOD, buy this, Blake, I'll go half." They were so uncontrollably giddy for the rest of the 20 or 30 minutes we walked around and they pretended to consider maybe buying something else. Should I even mention the part where they came across a $40 set of Gears of War action figures? The laser tag game was actually SET DOWN for about 2.4 seconds. Don't get me wrong, I was also very excited about this laser tag game, it did sound fun, and it was even more exciting to think of them running frantically around the apartment complex, maybe even with their shirts off?

Okay- now this next part is where it gets really good for me. On the way home, I was holding the game and sitting in the back while they pumped themselves up, and talked about how good they were going to get each other. While I'm examining the box and reading everything, I realize that the piece that actually shocks you is the gun- not the circular metal device that straps onto your chest. And I know that these boys don't know that- because they're discussing playing without shirts on, so that they "REALLY feel that shit!" So, at this point my grin is probably looking similar to The Grinch's. Now, once we get home I waited ever so patiently for them to figure out how to strap on their devices, I even helped! [By the way, it is SO convenient for me that I am practically always expected to be the "instruction reader," because I can direct them to hold their guns as tightly as I want.] So, I instruct them to each hold their guns, press the reset button, & shoot on three..one, two, three. I felt so warm and fuzzy inside as I watched both their faces, and as a bonus-Blake was so shocked -ha- that he threw his gun, which just came flying right back (because they're connected the the other device) and HIT HIM IN THE EAR. It was awesome.

But, they did run around outside with their shirts off, and they also turned off all the lights in the apartment and played a very creepy version of hide and go seek. There was also a contest that involved shocking your tongue, nipples, and YES! balls. Pretty good night, preeeetty good.

Sweet Saturday.

It's Saturday! And for West Texas, it's a beautiful Saturday. I decided to start off my day with taking Milo for a walk at the duck pond, master loves his ducks. Sometimes I get embarrassed when Milo charges with all his might towards the ducks that are innocently perched on the water's edge, and the automatic leash can stretch no farther, causing his whole body to turn almost all the way around and he always looks so confused. "It happens every time, dude! And those are not your friends!" I actually really love the fact that he falls in love with everything and everyone who he meets, or sees. Even in the late hours of the night while we're outside "pottying" a man who looks like someone I don't want to particularly come into contact with looks like a new buddy who probably has treats?!, to Milo. He again demonstrated his love for all beings when we returned home, and he REFUSED to come inside because he wanted so badly to run back down the stairs and play with the little girls whose voices he could definitely hear. Children's voices or laughter really get him excited. I took a short video of him trying to let me know he did still want to come home, with a tail wag. But when I asked him to "come on," there was a "oh no, I couldn't" head turn, because he must play with the children! [While this video uploads, Milo licks my toes under the computer desk & falls asleep.] (-:

Now- I'm about to crawl into my comfy bed once again, where I'll be induldging in a tall glass of Diet Coke, a plate of Pizza Rolls, today's newspaper, and Ghost Hunters! Austen won't be home for two more hours, whoo! I love Saturday. (-;

Morning Meditation
Every morning I make a 20 minute drive to school down a small highway here in West Texas. I always make sure to snatch my iPod off of it's stereo in my bedroom so that I can listen to all of my favorite Indie/Acoustic songs. [Or, as I like to call them: "Morning-Time-Songs."] Yes, I AM brilliant. Usually while I listen to the mellow, easy-going music with cigarette in hand, I find that as I get lost in my thoughts I am almost meditating while coasting down this 20 mile stretch. And, almost everyday while I'm in this relaxed state (state of mind?) I notice the sky, and think of God painting it himself. Maybe it's silly, but I always feel so comforted while I try to imagine Him painting the clouds- putting thought into each one so that it makes an appealing picture all together. Sometimes the sun is nestled so perfectly in those massive pillows in the sky that I feel like He arranged them just for me to notice, and admire, at that exact moment. :]

Milo
In late July, I went and bought a little Pomeranian. He's almost 4 months old now & just today I'm starting to realize how much smarter & I guess just more aware he's getting. When I'm sitting at the computer, he's laying underneath the desk ON my feet. When I get up to go to the bathroom, be it at 2:00 in the morning or 7:00 at night, he follows & just sits on the rug patiently until I'm done. Ha! He's precious.

Love Yourself.
My boyfriend is constantly talking badly about himself. I mean, okay baby, maybe you ARE balding a little in the front & you ARE only twenty years old but hell, you look good! Look how cute he is :

See? He complains about his hair, his "acne" (which does not exist), and the left side of his face. It just really bothers me that he sees himself to be so unattractive and as he says, "ugh stupid." Of course I do the same thing, eeeveryday when I'm getting ready, or just catch myself in the mirror. Ha, well not that often but I complain about my weight all the time which is annoying to me because I can change that STARTING NOW but all the burgers & Twix bars won't stop talking to me. Speaking of weight & being a fat ass, anyone out there have any good dieting tips? Ha.

OKAY the reason why I wanted to write this post is because I wanted to make a list of all the weird things about myself that only I know about, AND I STILL LOVE MYSELF. So, here we go:

  • Before showering or drawing a bath (whichever) I absolutely HAVE to check every inch of the tub for black spots. These black spots could be bugs, fuzz, dirt, a crumb-whatever! But I have to find them all, and wash them away before my feet or ass touches them.
  • Only when I'm pooping, I have to sit up straight & look behind me at the toilet to check for..something! I don't even remember what it is I check for because I've been doing it since I was little, but I think it's to check for roaches.
  • I hairspray my eyebrows so that they don't "fray."
  • I'm a neat freak. Emphasis on the freak part.
  • Making my bed has to happen as soon as I realize that I am awake.
  • If I don't give myself a pedicure at least once every two weeks, I feel that I am un-cleanable.
Did I just describe how much of a neat-freak I actually am? I guess I'm just weird because of my obsession to keep all the nasties of the world from touching, or coming near me.

By the way, world- I have purchased a new, totally cute billfold because I'm 18, and I'll be getting my new liscense soon! And everyone knows you have to get a new billfold for your super cool 18 year old liscense.

Turning 18
October 3rd was my 18th Birthday! Whoo, I'm legal! I'd been planning a party for about two weeks before my Birthday, which was a Friday! & that Thursday before, my back totally went out. It had been really sore for a few days before that, but it was for sure OUT at that point. I called Austen, hysterically, -because I am not good at handling anything even a little bit scary like that by myself- & he left work early to come get me and we met my Mom at the emergency room, I was prescribed pain killers, and was just plain HURTING. So, at my "party" Friday night I wasn't drunk, wasn't playing Beer Pong, & I wasn't screaming out my personal secrets because I was all loopy on pain killers. Which just is NOT fun. Being surrounded by a bunch of drunk guys, sitting on the couch saying, "Woooooah guys, woooah...y'all are SO loud, guys." [btw: yes-guys, because they're the only friends of mine that wanted to be around me drunk while I was NOT. & also, YES- there were multiple suggestions made throughout the night that sounded like this, "dude. we should so be at a titty bar right now! WHAT ARE WE DOING?!"] But I love my boys, they're awesome & they actually came, ha!

I did have fun though, took lots of pictures, and laughed alot. Also before that whole event my Mom & Step-dad took me out to dinner with the rest of the fam at Cracker Barrel, which is like for suuuuure my new favorite restruant. SO GOOD. Plus, my awesome Mom made me a Scrapbook from me as a baby to 18 years! How fucking cool is that? She & my step-dad also gave me a pair of diamond earrings from Occasions Fine Jewelry that I'm officially obsessed with. Oh yeah, and my Aunt Deebs gave me a "The Taste of Home Cookbook", which I am all over, I mean it's food. Come on.

Today is my Mom's Birthday- she's 41 but looks 12. Ha. She's gorgeous, I love her, & she's my hero! Happy Birthday Mama!
